Attending a new church on a Sunday morning can be an intimidating but rewarding experience. Here’s some of what you can expect when you arrive at the Good Hope Baptist Church on Sunday for the 10:00 a.m. worship experience:
WHERE ARE WE
We are located at 207 Chisholm Trail, Round Rock, TX 78681. We are located on the same street as the Animal Hospital and Retirement Home. If you cross the railroad behind Freddy’s Steakhouse and come down the street we will be on your left.
PARKING
Plenty of parking is available in the parking lot at Good Hope Baptist Church. If the main parking lot is full you can park in the adjacent parking lot on the North Side of the church. After you’ve parked, you can enter through the side door where the parking lot is or through the front door of the church. Someone will be there to welcome to you and greet you in a warm manner.
CHILDREN
Our kids are worth investing in and that’s why we’ve created a high-energy worship experience. Although we currently do not have a nursery for our little ones, Kids and children are welcome in our worship service. Even our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ rebuked those for wanting to exclude the children.
WORSHIP
We believe that worship is the core of who we are at Good Hope Baptist Church. Being reminded that God is present among us is the focus of our time spent together. So we invite you to join in with us during the worship service. No matter your praise style we have a desire for you to lift up the name of Jesus. Worship is connecting with God during the time of fellowship with other believers. We encourage you to feel welcomed in our Worship service.
BIBLE TEACHING
The Bible is the story of God’s interaction with humanity and our primary source for learning about our relationship with Him. We think church should be a place where the Bible is explained and you leave with a knowledge of the Word that can be applicable in your daily life. We are committed to teaching and preaching the Word of God and staying true to the Word of God.
CULTURE
We have a diverse culture at Good Hope Baptist Church. We want Good Hope Baptist Church to be a place where people feel like they can be themselves and encounter God’s life for them. For some, that will mean putting on their Sunday best. For others, that will be casual attire. Whatever you wear, you’ll find people engaging as believers. We want you to be comfortable and know that we believe that all who come in the name of Jesus Christ is welcomed.
VISITOR CARDS
If you’re a first-time guest, we encourage every person to fill out our visitor card so that we can continue to connect with you beyond the worship experience, give updated personal information, or simply communicate something to the church office. You can turn in your card at the end of the service or during the offering period when we give our tithes and offerings.
